a month agoYo, I'm giving this place five stars for two reasons. First, they've got a whole section just for Pakistani and Indian spices. Second, they sell Halal meat. And on top of that, you can get the freshest veggies and fruits there. Their salad bar and fresh juices are the bomb ๐ฅ ๐ท

8 months agoI love the International Variety Market. It's a great place for foreigners who miss their home country. However, I don't understand why the prices fluctuate so much. If something is on sale, it would be helpful if they kept it on sale for at least a week. Otherwise, it could be seen as deceitful to customers

6 months agoThey carry a wide variety of international items. They also have Halal Chicken but at crazy prices. Their Sushi was OK not the best Iโve tried. Experience in general was pretty good. They do have an outside area to dine which is a plus. Also the music playing was good too.

2 months agoBe careful when you shop at this store, workers will easily try to take advantage of you by charging you more. It happened to me on numerous occasions at the meat counter. For example today I picked up a prepackaged and priced already piece of beef. I asked the employee to slice it for me. The price on the package was $17.89. He started weighing the meat in the scale and printed a new price tag with a higher price. I asked him few times to give me back the wrapper with the original price because I knew they are sneaky like that in this store and sure enough the meat after slicing it had a higher price. I confronted the guy why is he changing the price. He started giving me a crazy reason that the price is higher. Give me a break dude donโt be retarded why would I pay a different price than the original price. And on another occasion they would show a sale on some cold cuts and I asked them to cut me some amount and the price per pound on the label they print had a higher price per pond. Also confronted them and the workers are all acting surprised and they have to come on my side of the cooler and look at the price again. Itโs like this there if you donโt pay attention they will take advance of you. Always check the items they give you back and verify the price per pound they are charging you for. Stay alert or simply donโt give them your business. Cheating your customers is a bad business practice.
