4 months agoThis place has delicious food. However the service was slightly odd for such a high end place. Since Michelin stars are based on food AND service I am surprised it earned a Michelin star. What was odd about the service was throughout the evening I was only checked on about 5 times which left me without drinks and hence I got one less drink than anticipated. Also before I had completed the first course the second course was brought out while I was still eating. This was odd as the other courses took awhile food to be removed and there was a larger wait time between. Also whatever they used to clear the counter between course left the table sticky and I would have rather sat with crumbs than the stickiness. Finally in terms of service the check was brought out after only taken 1 bite of the dessert (and I hadn't asked for the check). The wait staff often also stood very close to me as their "watching" area, which made me uncomfortable as I could feel/hear them but not see them since it was a counter seating. Like I said the food was really good and some of the best pita and hummus I have ever eaten. Although I would say the main course the rice and lamb was slightly overcooked. The portions are huge and you actually feel very full after the meal with a sticker price that is very reasonable for what you get. All and all, I would return if the service improved.

2 months agoHighly Recommend: Amazing meal, great service and good drinks. Amazing as expected. All our dishes selected tasted really good. Turns out ~150 pp. As others noted its a lot of food but everyone was happy about it. The hummus comes out with a bang - really good with their puffed pita.

4 months agoFantastic meal with a cool vision. Definitely recommend going with a group of 5 or more so you can try practically everything on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks, including mocktails, were fresh and tasty. All the food was phenomenal. Bright and bursting with flavor. Highlights included (but not limited to) the pea tart, tuna, walleye, and chocolate cake. The turkey shawarma was also a pleasant surprise - smokey and tender.

a month agoDinner here was phenomenal! The cocktail options were phenomenal to start. Extensive wine selection is a tough choice to pick from but no complaints and enjoyed the wine we did get. Heirloom tomato mezze dish is a must get. Falafel is a staple and should be considered! Carrot mezze leaves a little bit to desire but not bad.

2 months agoNot sure how this one has a Michelin star. Food was good, not great. Some of the meats were dry, and I’ve had better hummus. Falafel was delicious, crispy and moist. Service was good, not great, and the restaurant was too crowded and felt too busy. Did the wine pairing and the staff didn’t seem to know much about the wine they were serving. Overall good experience but definitely not Michelin star worthy.
