Gastro Health – Catonsville

An appointment was made, insurance confirmed twice only to get to the appointment and be told my insurance isnt accepted. Someone named Shayla made the initial appointment. From another review here, it looks like they have a habit of not verifying insurance and just haphazardly making appointments. You are wasting people's time not doing the administrative and billing portion of the office correctly. The front desk needs training and better communication.

Everyone has been very considerate and kind they have gone above and beyond to help me and to try to figure out what’s going on with my stomach. So far, I’m very pleased.

Everyone, from the front desk to the actual doctors, are very kind and helpful and supportive. I wish this was my primary care doctor. The great communication, the atmosphere, there is hardly ever a wait, and the supportive staff and doctors, make my PC doc office seem so inefficient. They seem to actually care here. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.

My experience was great. Dr. Abernathy and his team were very attentive and patient friendly. Everything was explained in a manner in which I was able to understand. While I do not need to return to this office/care-i would suggest that anyone who does need to see a GI physician or practitioner to come to this office.

The nurse practitioner I met with was extremely knowledgable and thorough. She explained everything in terms that you can understand.
