3 weeks agoDr Santana is wonderful! He explained everything about my procedure and even showed diagrams. I felt very comfortable all my questions were answered when I left the practice. Heโs very caring and attentive!!

2 months agoPA Joanna May and her assistant did a very good and comprehensive job during my mother's medical appointment. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. My mother has been patient with GANV since 2017 and we are pleased with the care she has received all these years.

3 months agoIt cost me over $2000 to have a preventative colonoscopy this year. Itโs not only the cost but the way I got blindsided no matter how vigilant I was about navigating insurance prior and after. Youโre on your own with this place. The doctor reassured me saying โoh youโre of age you need a screening which is coveredโ. Now I am well educated on โscreeningsโ and will be more careful not to do them without way more knowledge. The way their system is set up, there is little human guidance. I got passed along from one department to another with call center rep saying โcheck with your insurance company โ and given some diagnostic codes that were not the ones they eventually used to bill. Once I tried to investigate further, I got outsourced to โadvocatesโ who simply confirm the codes are correct and that I should Google them. There are multiple bills (facility/anesthesia/multiple doctors/ pathology) but I had one polyp and although the paperwork said these are usually covered, they still managed to apply a different code to all parts of the billing so that the bill was no longer covered at all. So the facility and anesthesia for instance would be covered if there was no polyp but since there was, I had to pay for the part that would be covered if I had been there as preventative. The call centers are trained to be barriers and defense for the medical folks and insurance companies vs actually being helpful to understand or fight this issue. Prior to this, note that I had called a few times prior to the procedure for clarity on instructions and to try to reschedule but I never got calls back. I dismissed these as minor nuisances but combined now with the charges and multiple attempts to understand how this happened the way it did I realize the corporate structure of this practice leaves everyone disincentivized to help the end client. They are just checking boxes and moving people through a system without thought.

a month agoI made a appointment to see Dr.Adams for a consultation. Never got to meet her at all only the assistant. Didn't get to schedule a appointment for my colonscopy because they where backed up in the scheduling office so the nurse told me to go home and someone will call me in a few hours. I did not get that call. Now here I am the following day get a missed all from them and I attempt to call back and they say leave a message. SMH. I took a whole day off from work for what?

2 months agoWould not go back. Just read to me the same written results from ultrasound exam which I already had and that was vague in findings. Did not pull up the image nor address my specific questions or concerns. Recommended follow-up treatment did not align with my own research. Tried to provide me a surgeon referral even thought there was no recommendation for surgery. Was seen by PA May and although she left to seek guidance from supervising Doctor, he never came into the exam room or spoke with me. Complete waste of my time and did not alleviate any concerns.
