3 months agoMuch to my surprise Abdul El Mubarak the Chef from my favorite Shawarma hangout was making my shawarma in Fairfax Virginia. lived for two years in Saudi Arabia and the place to go for me was where Abdul made my Shawarma near the beach. His journey here is a story to tell escaping the war in Syria he was in a refugee camp in Jordan with his family before making it to Fairfax and starting his Syrian Restaurant. Great food best shawarma this side of the Middle East.

6 months agoThe food is truly fresh and authentic. I loved everything I ordered from Falafels to Lamb Shish kabobs and the flavored white rice. However, service is lacking, itโs self serve & you have to clean your table by yourself. There is no point in tipping upfront. The portions of the tahini sauce leave a lot more to be desired. Would come back for the food though. Would come back for the food.

6 months agoIโm giving 4 star because I didnโt like the juice price $6 for water and fruit. I didnโt liked the mango because it doesnโt seem like mango juice taste wasnโt good. For food the quality is good and taste was good but they charged $1 extra for bread without telling. They had self service, But must give a try!

2 weeks agoAfter 10 years in the US I can say I found the best Shawarma in the country. The staff are amazing and friendly the food is very clean and tasty not oily and full of flavor. The chicken tasted very fresh even though I came at 8pm almost their closing time. I will definitely be a regular.
