4 months agoWe picked up a mixed platter from Golden Pockets. It was our first time. It was a lot of food and it was delicious, especially the pickled peppers/veggies. The only downside is that the rice is spicy (which I didnโt even anticipate considering it is an Iraqi spot and their rice isnโt usually spicy? ๐ถ๏ธ), and the food is definitely on the saltier side. I understand food needs salt to taste good, but everything in the platter was very salty. The pickled items were also salty so altogether it was too much salt. Just keep that in mind, but definitely worth trying!

4 months agoWhere do I begin? WOW! We ordered the Shawarma Lamb-Gyro plate and my taste buds are exploding! My husband ordered his with fries and Garlic sauce (heavenly!) The seasonings are delicious and flavorful. Authentic for sure. I almost skipped on the rice thinking it'd be bland..OOH NO! It was aahmazin and spicy. This will be our new spot. Not to mention the guys threw in a plate of Falafel for us, WOW! The best I've had anywhere here in MA. It was crunchy, soft in the middle and have I mentioned, DELICIOUS! Paired perfectly with the buttery smooth Hummus. Not to mention we noticed a genuine act of kindness from this establishment to another soul. A great place. ๐ผ

4 months agoPhenomenal falafel! I ordered the falafel plate with a side of home made spicy sauce. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and accommodating. This is the best falafel I've ever had! It was light and fried perfectly with a clean taste. The rice was seasoned peelrfectly and the Hummus was great too. I'm from Knoxville TN. Next time I'm visiting family in Worcester I'll come back!

a month agoBest shawarma I've had in a long time. The prices were fair. The couple running the store were so friendly and had my food ready in a jiffy. I'm sad I'm not from around here or I'd be a weekly regular. Help support this local family business.

4 months agoThis was my first time trying this type of food and I absolutely loved it, shawarma beef gyro wrap and falafel were so flavorful and crispy, the hummus was so creamy and this garlic sauce was so delicious I canโt wait to come back you guys got 5 stars
