Great Papa’s Gyros

My Hubby & I stopped in on a whim after a power outage canceled our lunch at home plans. We had a gyro pita piled high with heaps of tender lamb & a super tasty falafel pita. Both were excellent & we got to enjoy generous servings of much better quality food for about the same price as we would have spent at a crappy fast food joint. The lady behind the counter was incredibly sweet & attentive, even noticing we were first timers. We love little family owned shots like this & will def be adding this restaurant to our rotation.

Great little spot. The women in the back were so nice! They gave us some free soup and it was delicious :) got the pita gyro combo and hummus. The hummus was so flavorful with garlic and was smooth. Def gonna come back

What a gem! Immediately welcomed with a smile (Robin), and made to feel right at home. This is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant- everything made fresh daily. Please do yourself a huge favor and order the lentil soup! Do ask to meet the mom, Hala (spelling), who prepares the food by hand. She is a lovely warm hearted woman. Overall a must try restaurant! We will be back 💯

Admittedly, I did not have high expectations when I stopped in for a bite to eat as some of the older reviews were mixed and I have had Mediterranean food all over the valley (and the world for that matter). However, Great Papa's Gyros is under new (family-owned) ownership and this has to be the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! From the Shwarma to the Kabobs and the Dolmas, everything is so well seasoned and flavorful it is truly next level! Whatever you do, don't forget the homemade Baklava for dessert! PRO TIP: call and place your order ahead if you are in a rush. Everything here is made with love from scratch and takes time (but is well worth the wait). Don't miss this gem.
