“Welcome to the Third location of Hakuna Matata at Orland Hills. At Hakuna Matata offers traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, such as shawerma and falafel. We also serve meals with rice, Chicken, Gyro and Beef.”
I stumbled upon Halal Kitchen Restaurant in Orland Park, Illinois, just as they were closing for the night around 11 pm, but what I experienced next truly exceeded my expectations. Despite the late hour, the store manager graciously welcomed me and assured me that my order would be taken care of. Not only did they accommodate my request, but the service was delivered with warmth and efficiency.
As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Each dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with care. From the tender meats to the aromatic spices, every bite was a delight to the senses.
What truly sets Halal Kitchen apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction, even during challenging moments like closing time. The staffโs dedication to providing excellent service is commendable and undoubtedly sets them apart from other restaurants.
If you find yourself in Orland Park and craving delicious halal cuisine, I highly recommend paying a visit to Halal Kitchen Restaurant. Youโll not only be treated to mouthwatering dishes but also to top-notch service that goes above and beyond.

My first time here and I would go back. Excellent customer service and the food was prepared relatively quickly. The place is clean and immaculate but it's a Great sign not seeing a restaurant with dated rusty equipment they bought from an auction somewhere. The place is sparkling and clean and that's noticeable.
The food was great. I ordered a schwarma wrap mixed chicken and steak. Had some Garlic sauce on the and spicy sauce. I would order that again.
The kibbeh was fresh and piping hot. For those that don't know it's breaded ball of ground beef and seasoning deep fried very flavorful.
Lentil soup was great you can't really mess that up, I added lemon juice and Turkish red pepper to it and it was perfect.
The banana pudding dessert was just great. Everything pictured I ordered.
Another new small business worthy of supporting. Thank you for the experience I'll be back.
Customer service was beautiful, food was amazing. Hats off to the chef. You can get chicken wings and shawarma from every corner of every street now. However, you wonโt find them this delicious except for Halal Kitchen. Congratulations on your first day of opening. I hope success for all of you. Mabrook and Ma Shaa Allah I will return definitely and Iโm not just saying this. My wife and I enjoyed every bit of it.
For the new comers, you will love the food and customer service, just give the newbies time to adjust the small glitches that every restaurant has when just opening. Give them a break if you find something a little off. But you will not be disappointed.
I drove 40 minutes to come and have dinner here. it clearly showed on Google maps that they were open. I own a business myself so I know itโs fairly simple to update business hours on Google. But I guess this restaurant doesnโt value their customers.
