Hanna’s Middle-Eastern Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant founded in 1989 by John Hanna – a Lebanese immigrant who came to the United States decades prior with a few dollars in his pocket and a dream.
He perfected his craft by working in the restaurant industry for many years before opening his own place in Danbury, Connecticut. What makes the experience at Hanna’s truly special is rooted in the quality of the ingredients and the careful attention put into every recipe. Most dishes are completely made from scratch with the delicate care of a home-cooked meal. Hanna’s offers both a deli where you can order food to-go and buy ingredients as well as a restaurant to dine-in. Oftentimes you will find weekly and seasonal specials that you will be hard-pressed to get anywhere else.
The restaurant ambience is a cozy atmosphere suitable for friends and family with a rare selection of Lebanese wines. Catering and special events can be accommodated upon request. 2 months agoI recently dined at Hanna’s in Danbury and had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, with rich and diverse flavors in every bite. The highlight of my evening was the exceptional service from Lina—she was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. The hospitality here is truly top-notch, making newcomers feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot for dinner or a date night. As a bonus, they treated me to complimentary Baklawa before I left. I hope they expand and open a location in Bethel soon!

2 months agoI never had a moussaka so damm good!! I was mind blown by it. I ordered the brozini fried fish and it's super delicious as well. It goes so well with the rice. I can understand why this is highly rated! Definitely worth another visit soon!!!

a year agoGood food, good vibes. Hanna’s a great warm & friendly restaurant with the owners making sure you’re enjoying the food. Not sure what to get? They’ll be happy to recommend. I ordered the stuffed squash and chicken sharwarma. They were both full of flavor and the sauce from the stuffed squash was amazing. Come experience an authentic Lebanese cuisine and make your taste buds dance.

3 months agoAmazing food and amazing service! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town I had lunch with my coworkers this week at Hanna’s while traveling. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Authentic Lebanese food at its finest. Generous portions at a great price!
