A 1994 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Hany serves as counsel to clients in a wide range of industries including the Pharmaceutical, Accounting and Consulting, Health Care, Insurance, IT and Construction industries. He assists large and mid-size multinational clients in obtaining labor certifications, immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, adjustments of status and naturalization for employees. Hany is also experienced in IRCA’s employer sanctions, record-keeping and anti-discrimination provisions, I-9 compliance, Social Security issues, U.S. Labor Department Audits and visa options and strategies. He also handles due diligence considerations during mergers and acquisitions for multinational companies.
Hany has acted as Lead Counsel in several mergers of major pharmaceutical companies and assisted In-House Counsel in implementing immigration programs, and served as lead counsel on all immigration issues.
He has also served as counsel in an internal I-9 Audit for a major pharmaceutical company and assisted in restructuring the company’s work-flow and record keeping process and strategies.

Hany also represents individuals in family-based immigration matters, including fiancee visas, permanent residence and naturalization, as well as investor green card applications.

Hany has numerous publications and has made numerous presentations at local and national conferences.
