House of Shawarma

Usually this place is pretty good, but for some reason I was rushed in and out of the shop today. I was given microwaved rice (apparently the steamer was "broken", but the rice was kept in fridge and tastes like it was made yesterday), and beef that is not even close to being warm. It's a shame because I usually frequent this location when I am hungry, but I'll probably just go to GnL next time.

My favorite shawarma place. They recently changed their recipes for chicken and beef shawarma and they are greatly improved. Both are now much more tender and moist, and toppings like toum, baba ganoush, and hummus are all delicious. The manager Zein is friendly and really cares about the quality of the food. Try this local delicacy!

I don't usually write negative reviews but my dinner experience was horrible. The food was smelly and not fresh at all. Chicken was not at all fresh more over the salad had a weird after taste. I really wanted to give more stars just because the server informed me that falafel, fries are cooked in the same oil with the meat.

Although I like the food here I just feel like the prices went extra high. Especially when I ordered a cup of ice cream and they charged me almost 6 dollars. Literally the cup fairly could have been charged $3 for it because it was just two very small scoops of ice cream.

I never write reviews, but after visiting recently I had to give this a 5 star review. The staff was very nice and helpful. The chicken and beef shawarma were DELICIOUS and filling, especially for the price!
