>The Islamic Center of Boston exists to provide religious, social and educational resources for Muslims living in the Greater Boston area. The building has undergone several rounds of renovations; the current structure opened in 2005 after a 10,000-square-foot addition was completed. The ICB hosts or participates in many inter-faith lectures and classes. It also operates a Sunday school program for Muslim boys and girls that runs from September through June. Daily prayer sessions are observed.

2 months agoI find it extremely frustrating that this mosque is closed every single day and only opens for Friday prayers. How is it that such a large, impressive building remains closed for most of the week? In Islam, mosques are supposed to be open 24/7 for people to pray. I've been to mosques in Worcester, Roxbury, and Malden, and theyโre all open throughout the day. This is the only mosque with such a restrictive schedule. I highly recommend that the mosque be open 24/7 so that Muslims can have access to pray whenever needed. Itโs disappointing that this place is not accessible to the community, which goes against the spirit of what a mosque should be. I also **do not recommend donating** to this particular mosque. If itโs not open for the community, we shouldnโt be contributing financially. I personally donate online, and I will be cutting my monthly donation to this mosque. Instead, I will redirect my donations to the Worcester mosque or any other that remains open and accessible for us."

7 years agoPrayed Jum'a prayer here today as i was nearby the area. Very nice masjid and facilities. Great khutba also. Inspiring and hope building or Muslims. Parking area even though looks spacious but if you are late the you wont find any. You can park across the street like what I did.

a year agoBest Islamic Center in New England! Very Clean Prayer Hall, Should come a bit early for Jumma prayers for parking. Awesome Community and great efforts made by the board to offer a variety of services at the facility. Very nice Programs, Halaqas, Sunday School, and other events. Overall Great services are offered by the Mosque Facility.
