The Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids (ICCR) serves the spiritual, religious, and communal needs of Muslims in Cedar Rapids by nurturing their faith, upholding their values, and fostering the well-being of the community around it through worship, charity, education, outreach, and civic engagement.

3 years agoI went here since 1999 around when I moved to Cedar Rapids. Iโm grateful for the experiences this mosque has given me in my life. Itโs a very diverse, open and supportive community. Anyone is welcomed into this mosque from all backgrounds if they want to see how Islam and Muslims are first hand. Spring dinners have been served to the open public for many years which is great community and cultural experience. This is a very special place and I hope it continues to give and receive the love and energy it deserves and the community needs.

5 months agoItโs a very big mosque without any people to pray in. Went there for Maghreeb prayer and found no one, not even the Imaam! There cannot be anything more sad than a mosque without people praying. May Allah give people of Cedar Rapids guidance so that they can pray in the mosque regularly 5 times.

a year agoBig enough mosque to pray comfortably. Good community meeting place for Muslims especially on Fridays. One suggestion is to host other prayers there beside Friday prayer, otherwise very nice and clean and good environment.
