It is home to the local Muslim community, new immigrants, and hundreds of international Muslim students and their families coming to study at the UF. The center is a vital part of our community and provides a sanctuary for Muslims to pray, learn, and socialize. 4 months agoI lived here for 1 year and can say that this masjid has been so welcoming to everyone who walks into their doors no matter where they come from or who they are. The community is very nice and generous with daily iftars during Ramadan and during the week. Such a nice, welcoming, spiritual vibe in the Masjid, which I really loved. Can't wait to see how this community and Masjid grows.

2 years agoBeautiful Masjed, MashaAllah. I went to the masjed to do Dubur, 1 hour before Aser time and the masjed was closed and I wasn't able to do my salat. I suggested a keypad lock and a sticker with 3 different phone numbers of the brothers in charge, so travelers people like me can access the masjed to do their ritual.

4 years agoVery welcoming masjid! They are trying something new which is dedicating two rows in the main area for the women. I am so so happy that they have done this! MashAllah it is so important to include the women. As a convert who studies just the religion and not culture, I really appreciate it. Beautiful khutbah as well.

8 years agoAwesome place for prayer and religious congregation. Although they don't have a permanent Imam (prayer leader), I found the sermons very engaging and entertaining. Their service in Ramadan is fabulous!
