a year agoThe women's space is not well kept. Its not in the mosque, theres a screen for the women to watch the imam...the screen is broken. Everything was directed at and only for the Brothers...not a mention of sisters. I was really disappointed, it was as if my faith wasnt valid or recognized. Its a far cry from the Mosques Im used to.

11 months agoPrayed my first jummah here after moving to the city. I always worry about going to new mosques since some of them have imams that are not really qualified (i.e faulty tajweed, lack of proper knowledge), however, the imam here was fabulous in all regards (may Allah bless him). His sermon was eloquent, his prayer was slow and thoughtful, and his recitation was precise and intentional. These contributed to one of the best first mosque experiences Iโve ever had. I will be attending this mosque for all of my obligatory prayers, as well as the congregational prayers during my time here!
