a month agoWomen's section is in HORRIBLE condition and has ROACHES. There was a roach crawling above my head the entire salah and I could not focus or relax. There's holes in the ceiling and the walls, there's soft spots in the floor under the carpet. Sad part is, it's vacuumed and bathroom is clean which means the ladies are probably trying to keep it clean, but everything is in horrible disrepair.

3 months agoCame here for the first time after hearing about it from my uncle for years. Alhamdulillah a very spacious center, could use easier navigation to get to the mussalah. I prayed isha individually, but as I was leaving, I was confronted by a brother who told me to take out my piercings immediately. There is adab in confronting people no matter how they practice, and this space did not seem to pass that check. However, it is a house of Allah nonetheless and I have respect and understanding for the brother who spoke to me. If I were any other person, this would make me never want to visit again.
