Janet’s Mediterranean Cuisine

Big fan of Janet's! I come here more than a few times a month and LOVE their falafel salad!! I know there's more to order there but when I want some healthy with tons of flavor, Janet's Falafel Salad is my go to. The falafel is soooo tasty and the salad dressing is CRAZY good and the fact that they give you a pita wrap is a great addition to the enjoy the dish multiple ways. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Wow what a hidden gem. Came here for lunch and was blown away at how clean the place was and how delicious the food was. I ordered the chicken with a side of babaganoush- a must! I wish I had a authentic mom and pop Mediterranean spot in OC

I absolutely love having Janet’s Mediterranean Cuisine. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The kabobs, hummus, tabbouleh , and Greek salad are juicy and flavorful. I really like their rice and warm bread. 🥰 I order the combo plate for two people. It feeds the 4 of us. I get take out often. Janet’s has a dining area. The service is friendly. It’s best to call to have your order ready because good food can’t be rushed. So happy I can get really good Mediterranean food close to home. I highly recommend this place.

Updated 6/17/24 Janet’s remains one of the better Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Tried dine in and service and food was solid. My GF didn’t love the beef because of the texture, which I understand was a bit off but chicken and lule kabob were on point. Platter for two was more than enough for us and had leftovers for the next day too. Great deal for about $35. Will be back for sure. ——- A hit and miss my last few trips, but this time they nailed it and it was a delivery order which was surprising. Last time the meat was over cooked and dry. I also waited forever for my food and I even called ahead. This time I tried delivery and was such a different experience. Food was packed well and cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh and tasty. Hummus delicious. And pita fresh and warm. Rice was not my fave, but tasty. Just prefer the buttery Persian version at some other places. It did taste good, just not the style I prefer. The chicken and beef kebabs were top notch though. Very well cooked and seasoned. Definitely enough for two people to share. The garlic sauce wasn’t my fave either, but not usually something I eat a lot of anyway. GF was disappointed though. All in all, an order I would place again. A little more consistency and an improvement here and there will kick it up to 5 stars, but a solid 4 stars for now.

I had the beef lulu kabob entree and it was really good. The service was great with the staff being helpful and friendly. Dining space is a good size and you won’t feel packed in. I recommend this place.
