a month agoSeems like people either have really good or really bad experiences eating here. For me, it was a good food court find. I had the special gyro. Plenty of food for $16. The gyro comes in a thin flat bread, similar to a flour tortilla, but crispy and flaky. I would have liked more seasoning in the beef, but the taste was good. The fries were a nice surprise, crispy outside and hot all the way through. I'm guessing they double fry. The beet and cabbage salad is simple, but nice. The rice was good too. Altogether more than I could eat in a single sitting. It's a nice find in a mall food court and I'll eat here rather than the chains.

a month agoI'd have to say I rarely leave reviews but my experience really had me taken back. When I had walked up to the restaurant the signs and advertisements for the restaurant looked so yummy and appetizing! The gentleman that helped me was very kind comsidering he was the only employee working. I had ordered a medium meat kebab with an additional pita and a coke ( small plastic bottle ) that came out to $20 including a tip. I had really high hopes to eat a good kebab and was unfortunately unsatisfied. When I had received my food it looked like a very small portion. I decided not to knock it until I tried it, so I had taken a bite and the meat quite literally dissolved and fell apart in my mouth mixed in with a heavy amount of mayo and soft lettuce. The flavor of this mysterious meat tasted of pure liquid smoke and smelt like a burnt piece of either plastic or chemicals I couldn't pin point the taste at all. The pita bread was most definitely bought from the store, cold and, lightly toasted on the grill. Again the advertisement is misleading and is not worth $20.

in the last weekI ordered a combo plate and got a sandwich. I selected rice and got no rice. Not accurate representation of the โcombo mealโ.

7 months agoThe best Middle Eastern restaurant in Tucson just might be in the Tucson mall! I know, thatโs hard to believe, but Kabab KINGโs name speaks for itself. Trust me: go, order the #1 Beef Gyro/Shawarma meal, and let your tastebuds cry happy tears.

2 months agoMenu images were deceptive and the price was ridiculous. Low quality pita bread being $2 for 1 is absurd too. Rip-off! Guy behind counter was friendly and nice but the prices are absurd.
