My husband and I just purchased a home, and we are first time homeowners. What we have experienced with one of the agents here at this location is despicable. Not only were we not given the correct keys for the home, but the home was also left a mess which puts them at a breach of contract. The thermostat cannot be changed because we don't have the code. So, now we have to have someone come out and put a new thermostat in. The seller left paint which has to be properly discarded of. He left plants in the window, the basement had trash all in it. I didn't get a picture of the shower in the basement, but the seller still had shower gel and other personal items in the medicine cabinet just gross!! The agent at this location was not calling my realtor back and he had the nerve to tell her when we were given the incorrect keys that we were going to get the locks changed anyway. This behavior is appalling, and his license should be ripped from him. Why would anyone want to do business with someone like this?! I have enclosed pictures. This was a home we were supposed to move in, and it should have been clean! Very disgraceful!! The agent's name is Jiryes Jarrous. Beware of him.
I wish I could give them 1 star. Dave Abdullah and Mike Ismail from Century 21 have shown themselves to be completely untrustworthy and unethical in their business practices. During my recent experience trying to buy a house in Livonia, the listing agent, Mike Ismail, misrepresented the condition of the property, claiming it required hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs to dissuade potential buyers and lower the offers. He even went as far as to provide fabricated foundation repair estimates. After these manipulations, he ended up purchasing the house himself for $275,500 by merely offering $500 over the final bid and is now listing it for $500,000 after only minimal improvements.
In discussing the sale with Mike, he confirmed that he did not pay the customary 6% real estate commission, which unfairly advantaged him in the transaction. Dave, when confronted, was fully aware of these actions and allowed them to proceed under his supervision. This behavior not only violates ethical standards but undermines the trust required in real estate transactions. I strongly advise anyone looking to engage in real estate dealings to steer clear of these agents. Just because someone has a long history in the industry doesn't mean they are the best choice for your real estate needs. Update 5/20/2024 Mike Ismail the crook sold the property for $475,000 making a clear $200,000 for his pocket due to his unethical dealings and business practice I blame his boss Dave who condones and accepts this behavior
Mike Ismail charged me $150 to return my keys to my home after I told him I didn't want to sell my home. Don't do business with this person.
He keeps texting, emailing and calling my phone some odd two months later about this review. I reported this behavior to the police commissioners.
We are currently searching locations to open 5 more restaurants in Warren, Novi, Dearborn and the surrounding areas. That being said, I would never use or recommend your agency in the future. Ali Charara has been nothing but unprofessional and impossible to work with. We will make sure that we let our corporate office know how your agency deals with prospects and to ensure other prospective franchises do NOT USE you. So disappointing.
A friend referred us to Valarie Arington and we are so happy we went with her. She worked with us over the past year help us find the house that was perfect for us. Even our inspector, the listing agent for the sellers, and anyone else that she spoke with said she was amazing to work with as well.
