About Us
Kingwood Islamic Center was established in the year 2003 as an Islamic school in northeast Houston area. In 2006, by the Blessings and Mercy of Allah (SWT), the Islamic Center purchased 2 acres of land near Bush International Airport on highway 59 in Kingwood, Texas.ย Initially two office buildings were placed on this land to provide a place of worship for both men and women. Combined, the buildings can accommodate approximately 250 men and 125 women.
Alhamdulillah, in October 2014, the Islamic Center acquired an additional 2 acres of land from an auction for $135,000. Masjid and a multi propose community center will be built on this newly acquired land, insha-Allah.
