4 months agoBest mid-east food! Fresh and flavorful. Our vegetarian family of 5 went for dinner on a weekday. Service was a bit slow. Our booth was back in the corner which didnโt help. But the food quality made up for that.

2 months agoHummus was flavorful with great texture. Mixed grill with kafta, chicken, and beef had smoky grilled flavor and was tender. Pita bread was warm and delicious. Huge portions. Friendly and efficient service. Overall had a great experience here.

10 months agoWe were in town for a weekend, so we a bite from La Pita as it had great reviews. Good sandwiches at decent prices. I loved the 2 Falafal wraps we ordered. Service was quick. There was a weird smell inside the place when i went in to place the order, so I gave a lower rating on the atmosphere. It was a short visit, so I'm not fully sure what was wrong.

10 months agoI was not disappointed Chicken Cilantro soup Ghalaba w/ Salmon, almond rice Soup= hot & delicious while not being overwhelmed by pieces of shredded chicken Salmon outstandingly tender and scrumptious Vegetables steamed perfectly being a tiny bit firm the way I love them Flavors are all awesome I was given an overly generous amount of food Staff are welcoming and accommodating I loved this clean, warm environment that smelled of delicious foods & aroma candles. I've been on a journey to find good Mid Eastern foods and folks I'm pleased to announce i finally did

2 months agoWe had dinner there with friends. The food was great. They serve hot, straight from the oven pita breads with hummus and olive oil (upon request). The main dish servings are generous. My wife and I could not finish one dish that we shared. We are not big eaters, but even then, one dish was so huge that we could not finish it. The ambiance is low-key. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very courteous and helpful. It would be on my list on my next visit to Detroit.
