7 months agoI'll start off by saying what a fabulous experience, from the service to the food, everything was on point. Our party of 10 went primarily to try the Greek specials (and they certainly did not disappoint), but the menu also had a great selection of other options like blackened cod and prime rib. There were also some fun creative specials like fried stuffed grape leaves and a nacho burger. Portions were very generous and no one went home hungry. The server was also over the top accommodating, allowing us to split the bill by couples of which there were 5. Laskara will be on our short list as a place we'll be visiting again!

a month agoI was passing through Wallingford and met an old friend for dinner. We remembered how much we loved Laskara "back in the day" and stopped in. The warm, welcoming, efficient staff are still top notch, and the food was as good as we remembered. Saganaki, Laskara salad, chicken princess, chicken feta were all delicious. We will be back to try our other favorites still on the menu.

6 years agoWe came here for our anniversary dinner and loved it. It's pretty easy to find, stands out on the corner where it is. Yes, as some have said the decor may be a bit dated but once you start eating the amazing food you don't even notice. Our waiteress was warm and friendly and went out of her way to look up a cocktail recipe than she wasn't too familiar with. The cocktail came out great. We had the saganaki for our appetizer. It's this cheese in olive oil and they set it on fire. So, so tasty! My husband got the paella for his main and it was delicious. I had the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. You also get a salad (family style) with the entrees. Comes with a few grape leaves and is pre-dressed. It tasted good (maybe a tad heavy on the dressing). We will definitely be back.
