The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. The restaurant serves Lebanese food which is similar to other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine. I ordered the stuffed squash with a tomato sauce. The dish comes with grape leaves. The Lebanese shepherd's pie is prepared with potatoes stuffed with shallots, meat, pine nuts topped with bread crumbs. The dish comes with a side salad. The hindby is served as an appetizer. It is prepared with dandelion with cilantro and olive oil. Staff is friendly and helpful. Mario is the nice owner with many years of restaurant experience.
Le Sajj Restaurant is an absolute gem for Lebanese cuisine! From the moment you step in, the inviting ambiance sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. The flavors of their dishes are an exquisite journey through Lebanese culinary artistry โ each bite tells a story of skillful preparation and authentic taste.
The menu is a treasure trove of delicious options, and the attention to detail in presentation is commendable. The staff's warmth and attentiveness add to the overall charm, making every visit memorable.
I highly recommend trying their signature dishes; each one is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to quality. Whether you're a fan of traditional Lebanese cuisine or a first-timer, Le Sajj is sure to leave you impressed and craving for more. A definite must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic Lebanese dining experience.
Really enjoyed everything that we ordered!! I think the lamb chops were my favorite, very tender but well cooked. The little milk pudding on toast dessert just had little too much rose water. I will definitely return!
Have to say, I did return and they did not meet my expectations. Second time around, the food did not taste as good. Had to drop my rating from a 5 to a 3.
Such kindhearted owners. I just opened a tailoring shop around the corner from the restaurant and the owner himself came to welcome me into the neighborhood. I had tried the tasteful grape leave and cheese kanafa!! Really the food was amazing I enjoyed it to the last bite. God bless this restaurant.
100% Halal! The chef was very welcoming and Albert was a sweetheart! The food was a bit too bland. We had the combo deluxe and the shish kebab was the best. We also had hommos and labne, and the chicken shawarma with tabouleh salad. Would recommend it if youโre in the neighborhood!
