Lolo Potluck is a true Egyptian restaurant jewel that deserves to be celebrated. The Egyptian cuisine at Lolo's Potluck is rich in flavor, ripe, and savory beyond compare. I tried Egyptian food for the first time here and can say that Egyptian food has now become my favorite type of food. My spirit is touched by not only the miraculous food made with such care and expertise but the heart of hospitality the owner demonstrated to me during my visit. I dare you to try the Egyptian Koshery, marble cake, Veggie Grapes Leaves Egyptian specialty, and the Alexandrian salad! Dare to dine like a Pharaoh at Lolo's Potluck the portal to Egypt and your life will be deeply enriched. May Lolo's Potluck flourish the way it deserves to abundantly.

Quaint and unassuming storefront and welcoming service with generous portions of food enough to satisfy the heartiest of appetites. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well. I had the koshary and highly recommend it! It is probably the most popular Egyptian dish in the world. Do yourself a favor and get extra sauce. You won't regret it. I will definitely be adding this place to my frequently visited list.

We were visiting from 2.5 hours away and were worried that it would be like all the other halal restaurants we’ve tried. Expensive and not that great. I’m so happy we finally found a great place to eat. Sadly it’s far. It’s not really a dine in type of place though. But the owner sh was very friendly.

Excellent Middle Eastern restaurant in all aspects. The owner cares a lot about her customer and the food she makes. I got from them different sandwiches and dishes such as shawarma, falafel and koshry and it’s always fresh, tasty and great value. Lolo Potluck is really the best Middle Eastern food around Metro Detroit that I have tried. I will keep picking up food from them weekly because they never disappoint me. They’re running a deal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 2 chicken shawarma sandwiches for $10.

I loved the food as I thought it was super flavorful and delicious. The service was also great since the waitress/cook/owner was so pleasant and sweet. The chicken lemon rice soup I got was good (I added a dash of salt and pepper) but it was quite lemon-y which was fine with me. My friend who I came with didn't like the food so much which came as a surprise to me; but then again this friend of mine is picky and I believe has a specific flavor profile. I would definitely come back- it's good food for a good portion for a good, reasonable price. They also do catering; I think that's what they primarily do as the place is kinda small but nice (not seating for large groups).
