Dr. Raouf was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and grew up across the United States, Iraq, and Jordan. He graduated from the University of Jordan School of Medicine with honors in 2015. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Washington Hospital Center, a Georgetown-affiliated hospital in Washington, DC. Prior to starting residency, Dr. Raouf served as a medical advisor for the Middle East Childrenโs Institute in Amman, Jordan where he cared for underprivileged refugees from Syria and Iraq.

4 months agoI was blessed to find Dr. Raouf when I was very ill. I had been ill for a few months. I was tested for everything and one night drove myself to the Emergency Department. My initial visit to Dr. Raouf was VERY productive. He asked great questions, increased some of the medications that I had been prescribed at the ER and could easily recognize that I was not well. I saw Dr. Raouf twice that first week and although initially my progress was slow I began to feel better. I am very appreciative for his care. Dr. Raouf cared for me with a blend of urgency and compassion that resulted in my better health and the ability to care for my congregation once again. Thank you, Dr. Raouf!

2 years agoDr. Raouf has many essential qualities I look for in a doctor: competence, thoroughness, the ability to listen, and a great bed-side manner. He asks questions for clarification, and does not seem to be judgmental in any way. He treats the whole patient, not just the presenting symptoms. He's been very helpful to me when I needed referrals to specialists. My visits with him have been productive and always on time. I would recommend him without hesitation.
