Malek Al-Kabob opened its doors in Taylor Michigan on January of 2006 by founding chefs Abu-Fahd and Abu-Snan, who after years of working side by side in kitchens, decided it was time to start their own venture. This time, with their own ideas of a great menu to offer diners, made up of dishes they have perfected over the decades.
Today, Malek has become noted as one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the Detroit Metro. The restaurant has become a popular destination for visitors and full of satisfied locals who are always proud to invite their guests “to taste real Middle Eastern food.”

2 weeks agoA Culinary Delight with Top-Notch Service I recently dined at this exceptional Lebanese restaurant, and I canโt praise it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, with everything impeccably clean and well-maintained. The food was absolutely divine. Their meats were cooked to perfectionโjuicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The stir-fry was equally impressive, with a perfect blend of spices and fresh vegetables that complemented every bite. To start, we enjoyed their soup and salad, which were both incredible. The soup was hearty and flavorful, and the salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed to perfection. A special shoutout to Alexis, who took care of us throughout our meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Her excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. This restaurant is a gem, combining outstanding food with great service in a spotless environment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine done right. Weโll definitely be back!

3 months agoThe lamb chili soup and spicy garlic sauce with the warm bread was amazing. We had the combo consisting of: chicken kabob, shish kabob, kafta, chicken breast, chicken gallayah, fatoush salad and hummus. The ambience is very elegant and service was excellent. Our sever Hamoudi provided excellent and prompt service.

3 months agoThe food was hot and freshly baked. The quantity was quite okay. Before we ordered we got a complimentary that was small breads and dips that were delicious. We tried Maleks Kafta in appetisers, in the entrees we ordered Chicken Sajji and Baba Ghanouj, soup and fries on sides. The fries were not that satisfying. I liked the Malekโs Kafta. Chicken Sajji was also good.
