Malek Al-Kabob opened its doors in Taylor Michigan on January of 2006 by founding chefs Abu-Fahd and Abu-Snan, who after years of working side by side in kitchens, decided it was time to start their own venture. This time, with their own ideas of a great menu to offer diners, made up of dishes they have perfected over the decades.
Today, Malek has become noted as one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the Detroit Metro. The restaurant has become a popular destination for visitors and full of satisfied locals who are always proud to invite their guests “to taste real Middle Eastern food.”

a month agoThis could be one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have ever tried, food was 10/10, service was amazing, I really enjoyed this place. It wasnโt any waiting line, restroom was clean. The salad is unforgettable so tasty and delicious. I truly recommend.

2 months agoThe lamb chili soup and spicy garlic sauce with the warm bread was amazing. We had the combo consisting of: chicken kabob, shish kabob, kafta, chicken breast, chicken gallayah, fatoush salad and hummus. The ambience is very elegant and service was excellent. Our sever Hamoudi provided excellent and prompt service.

5 months agoWhat a great restaurant! My wife and I wanted a legit and authentic restaurant without all the fuss. The food was fantastic. The service was spot on. Weโre not big meat eaters but couldnโt decide so we got a sampler platter that was the right choice! Will absolutely be back. No hesitation to eat here again!

5 months agoI wanted to like this place but Iโm afraid they are pretenders to the throne and not kings of kebab. The soup was watered down, the bread didnโt even have pockets and the kebabโ I have a few comments about it. The positive was that it wasnโt fatty. The kafta kebab was full of cumin and dry and the Shish kebab was made of good quality tenderloin but needed salt to flavor it.
