Masjid Al-Muโminun is a place of worship for Muslims. The masjid is a central institution in the lives of many Muslims, providing a sense of community and spiritual connection. It is a sacred space where Muslims gather for prayer, community events, and religious education. The design of Al-Muโminun typically reflects Islamic architectural principles, with 3 central prayer halls. In addition to serving as a place of worship, Masjid Al Muโminun plays an important role in the Muslim community. It is a hub for social and cultural activities, such as religious classes, charitable events, and cultural celebrations. Al-Muโminun also serves as a center for outreach and education, where non-Muslims can learn about Islam and engage in interfaith dialogue.

a year agoI needed to stop by for Salah really quick, was late and was only Masjid in area on my way to hospital, (that I know of). There was some one to greet you there, they had community support with some food items, bread and vegetables etc.. had some things for sale. and for a small masjid had a whudhu and restroom area for men and women. For what you need in a hurry, it was sufficient. Wheel chair accessible. - My masjid of choice of course is Masjid Ibn Abbass in College Park Ga. - But this place was in the right place at the right time for a quick in and out.

3 years agoAsSalaamuAlaikum Ramadan Mubarak! This Masjid is and has been the place of my birth into The Deen of Al-Islam and it was the place of comfort for me. Our community has always been embracing, warm and friendly. I miss it and had been missing it sentimentally long before CoVID and its restrictions. Our Imam Furqan was personally very supportive throughout some very difficult times in my life as he has done for others. He is an outstanding and well-respected leader in our community and I have benefited from his teachings. He is always on point. So many Muslim travelers make their way through Al-Mu'Minun when they visit Atlanta. A nice place to kick your shoes off and join in the prayers, AlHamdulillah.
