Masjid Awliya is located up the stairs and has a separate section for women. Do note that there isn’t any wudhu area, so do arrive with wudhu beforehand. However, the video’s comments mentioned an industrial kitchen sink at the back that you could use!

2 months agoThe entrance is through a garage door full with the halal food carts. Doesnt look like a typical entrance, easy to miss. I posted a pic of the entrance.

4 weeks agoGreat to have a place to pray Alhamdulillah Some information that might be helpful for people, 1. It would be great if you already have done Wuduh before coming (as I did not see a dedicated place for it) 2. You need to go up the stairs to enter the mosque/praying area, to get to the stairs, go a little bit straight when you enter the building, the stairs would be on the your right side (as shown in picture in other review) 3. Yes there is a small area dedicated for sisters to pray in, as soon as you enter the mosque, on the left of entrance there is small area covered by curtains for sisters to pray in. 4. For sisters: donโt be alarmed if you see people resting there, atleast when I visited people were there resting / sleeping

2 months agoIncredibly welcoming environment with a spacious layout. For anyone planning to visit for daily salah or Jummah, here are the prayer times as of August 2024. I hope this helps, as I couldn't find this information online myself!

a year agoMashaโAllah a small but nice mosque in the heart of NYC, not that far from Times Square! Thereโs also a female prayer section while toilets and wudhu facilities are downstairs a bit far from the prayer hall.
