Med Box Grill

Food, service and atmosphere is always amazing. My friend and I always come in and enjoy lunch at least 1 time per week. Best Mediterranean food in the metro area. Wait staff always smile. Sedef is an amazing staff member. She makes you feel like family. The owners always take the time to make you feel welcomed.

Ordered the hot chicken plate with rice, hummus, pita, dolmas and salad with tomatoes. The chicken was good but could be improved by tossing in the spicy sauce instead of a drizzle. It’s skinless boneless chicken thighs, so you really can’t dry them out, tender and juicy. Hummus was great, I don’t think the pita was made there… the rice needs improving. I was expecting basmati but it was a plain lower grade rice pilaf. The rice was over cooked. For $18 I expect basmati or jasmine. That was a disappointment. Salad is bland and kind of not needed. Overall I likely won’t be returning but it is an easy lunch spot! I was not offered the lunch specials even tho three waitresses were standing around in front of me, I learned of it after the fact. Order and sit down during the day, nice seat spacing, quiet. I don’t know their evening policy.

I highly recommend the Feast for 2. I came here on a date night with my husband. The food blew us away. The chicken exceeded my expectations - it was juicy, perfectly cooked, and had tons of flavor. The gyro and steak were fantastic. Even the rice was amazing. The portions were generous and we went home with leftovers. Every part of our meal was perfect, and we ended with baklava, which was the best I've ever had. Even though you order at the counter, the atmosphere is still very conducive to having a nice meal where you can sit down and enjoy your time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We're so excited to have found such a gem and can't wait to come back.

First time to the Med Box Grill. Not sure about the name, because I would've not picked this place unless a friend recommended it to me. Med Box sounds more like a medical supply company than an exquisite Mediterranean Grill that it turned out to be. Very nice and clean restaurant with plenty of seating. Super friendly service that caters to the customer's needs and wants. You have to order at the counter and then you sit down and wait for the food to be brought to your table. I ordered the beef shish kebab plate and substituted the rice with another side salad because I didn't feel like rice today. When the food was brought out I was shocked about the size of the salad. This was by far the largest salad I have ever seen and I have seen some large salads. I'm not the to-go-box type of guy, but I was not able to finish. Looking forward to eating the rest later today for dinner. The meat skewers were tasty, a little small but the giant salad made up for it. What I missed was a side of pita bread, that would've rounded up the meal for me. Would've come in handy too to dip into the delicious assortment of sauces that came with the meal. Overall well worth coming here again and probably again and again. Well done Med Box Grill, despite the name. 2nd time at the Med Box, wonderful food, exquisite service by Sedef and as always a clean and inviting ambiance. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped by for lunch. It was my 1st visit but will put this location at the top of my must go to places. The food was fresh and came quick. The service was great and had a nice atmosphere. Will be back for another dish
