7 months agoWow. When I want to build my own cheese and charcuterie board, this is my go-to spot. Pro-tip: if you order a variety of items for your party, you don't actually need as much for your board as you think. 1 Lb = 16 oz, and I always order 2-4 oz of any particular item. Although when ordering olives, peppers, etc order a cup or 8 (fluid) oz containers. Pre-packaged nuts help round out the board. Slice up a baguette from a market bakery and you are good to go.

a year agoMy mother and I go to this store annually and we have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, I think Saturday was our last time visiting. My family and I were treated very poorly by an older woman who claimed to be the owner. I have never seen her in the store before over the MANY years we have been shopping there. She tried to kick me out of the store while I was shopping with my mother after she kicked out my siblings. I understand that the store is small which can be a problem with a large family. I understood that, if she would've left it at them having to stand outside the door none of the rest would've happened. Of course she couldn't let it be. She had to get in my face trying to kick me out when I was in fact buying things from her store. If she is the one running the place, I will not be back. I hope she was just there for the day because if not she will lose a lot of business with her sour attitude. When we were checking out, and my mother asked why the altercation happened, she told my mother that she had no patience. Well, as an owner, she should find some especially around Christmas time when families are down at the market shopping. It is such a shame, we have always loved shopping there and now we will be finding a new store to take our business too. I will say that the other employees behind the counter were very nice, and they even apologized for her behavior on her behalf.

a year agoThe woman who claimed to be the owner of the store literally kicked a group of kids out because one dropped a strawberry and then began berating paying customers. horrible customer service from this woman. short hair grey hair and black glasses. it kept me from going in the store. which is a shame because it is a nice place. maybe just dont have that woman working the counter if she cant handle customer service. thanks.
