2 weeks agoI entered the waiting area which was fairly empty and clean. The young lady who registered me was very polite and I was called quickly to triaged. After that I waited for 5 hours and not being seen, my husband approached the triage nurse to find out how much longer we would have to wait and she told him that we were welcome to leave anytime. So we left. Iโm not really sure what was going on in the background but I do know that there wasnโt many people in the ER waiting room and several people had been discharged. I donโt think people should have to wait so long to be treated. There is also a lack of empathy and compassion for those who come into the hospital and sit there for hours waiting to get treatment. No one came to check on me while I was there. Not all of us that comes into the ER is homeless or on drugs and even then, they deserve compassion. Mercy, you can do much better. #ERdilemmas.

2 weeks agoLeaving a 5 star review for an ER feels insane -- but I came here in the middle of the night with a pretty gnarly wound and I was in and out in 2 hours. Not only that, but every person along the way, front desk, nurses, and doctors, were all incredibly kind. Took me by surprise since you typically expect ER experiences to be miserable. Definitely recommend if you're in the city!

2 months agoI must say, we were impressed with the attending service at Mercy Emergency department. We were treated with care, everyone was professional, and courteous. And the wait time was surprisingly quick for an emergency room compared to the "norm" with other hospitals.

3 weeks agoThe waiting room line is the shortest wait time of all three major hospitals around downtown Baltimore. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. It's relatively well-maintained, and I recommend it if you don't want to wait forever to be seen...

3 weeks agoAs troubling as the ER can be and the amount of people who come to the ER, the customer service was absolutely exceptional! Everyone is so nice and caring. From the registration to the triage to the doctor to the nurses. I hope I donโt have to come back here but if I need to I will be coming back here!
