Seems as if my review was deleted. I basically explained how Stephanie (nurse) was very rude and unprofessional. I expressed my concerns with vaginal issues but because I just found out I was pregnant she stated I couldnโ€™t get any test done unless they do ob care for my baby which I declined because their office doesnโ€™t make me feel comfortable. I just wanted to get test done to make sure I didnโ€™t have any infections, which I went to them prior for and never liked their services, they were just close in proximity and the only place I could go to at the time. So with me telling her I just wanted the test done, she proceeds to ask me rudely โ€œwell why are you here then if you donโ€™t want to do test on your babyโ€. Like girl who are you talking to? Sheโ€™s very rude and then tried to make it seem like she didnโ€™t mean it in a rude way when I checked her. Her tone is nasty and disgusting. All of the reviews regarding her have been taken down which I noticed. She does not need to work there or in this type of field. I will not recommend their services. They do not listen and they only want to suggest what they think THEY want you to do. Thereโ€™s another doctor I canโ€™t think the name of unfortunately but acts as if she doesnโ€™t know what youโ€™re talking about and does not listen. Do not come here for ob care

Office reception is the absolute worst- even though I adore my doctorโ€ฆ. Office training is in need- no patience for incompetent staff- too many alternatives โ€ฆ

Very kind and compassionate staff! Dr. Banooni was great throughout my pregnancy & Dr. Hakim was great throughout the labor and delivery of my son. The front desk staff was always so warm and welcoming too!

It feels like a fast-food style clinic. I felt like another number and another way for them to get money fast. I was referred by an existing patient because my Obgyn retired. I have had two visits over two years. Both times I felt unwelcomed from the check in to the checkout. I also felt as if my opinion does not matter and they did not offer any options other than what they wanted me to do with my body. Again, two visits over two years. To me, this second visit (20-Mar-23) confirms that this is the environment and not a one-off occurrence. I prefer a doctor who is consciously aware of their patients needs and does not solely rely on statistics. Also, they should not rush a person into making a decision. We believe all things are possible. The doctor I had was closed minded. The 2nd and last visit. We all know how much of a pain it is to find an Obgyn. The fact that I am willing to say it all. Referenced Doctor S. Hakim. Also, the receptionist Meleana (sp) has an opportunity to develop her diversity training. Read other recent reviews from other people. You will see there is a trend on the aforementioned topics.

Honestly, where do I begin? I don't think this review will be enough. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, I've had phenomenal service. I called January 4th, 2023 and had an appointment (today) January 11th, 2023. I needed the works. I have not been to a doctor in 19 years. I have NEVER felt more relaxed and comfortable as I was today. Everyone treated me with respect and kindness. Not one person made me feel bad for not being seen in such a long time. Instead, they were all positive and made sure they were there to help me. The medical associate that took my vitals was so nice and patient with me. Dr. Jelinek was superb! She went over everything with me and I never felt rushed, she just let me explain everything. Rachel (I believe was her name) who did my lab work was excellent. You can't even tell she drew blood! Then to the ladies that checked me out. So kind, sweet and understanding of all of my questions. I am so happy that I found this place. Although, the office is over an hour away from my home, I would honestly drive 5 hours to see them! Thank you so much to everyone at Michigan Women's Health Institute.
