Modern Hijabi

Such a Abaya shop! I visited here on Sunday September 22. It was my first time shopping here. I bought 2 abayas, but wanted way more lol! Their prices are excellent, and there were several really cute Fall dresses to choose from. The sales associate was very nice and friendly. I love great customer service, and will definitely plan to visit them again soon InShaaAllah! JazakaAllahu Khair❣️

It was the first time I came here but the customer service was terrible! We told her good morning and she didn’t respond. And that’s not all. She told us the price of the dress like it’s the hundred time we asked. She didn’t even ask us if we need help. The dresses were really overpriced and many of them weren’t even the best. I asked her how much one dress was and it was $148! I don’t know about you but I think that that is VERY overpriced for an abaya. And the way she told me the price disappointed me the most. I’ve seen way nicer abayas and dresses that are WAY cheaper. I don’t recommend buying from that shop and it was definitely my first and last time buying from there. I’m not writing this to hurt them I just want them to succeed in what they are trying to do for the Muslim community.

Save yourself the time, energy, and frustration—shop somewhere else that isn’t price gouging, unprofessional, with no customer service skill. I am extremely disappointed with the appalling service I received at modern hijabi. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. When I first visited the store, no one bothered to assist me, and the girl working was dismissive. I found an abaya set that I liked, however the dress portion was tight, while the abaya part was really large. After searching on my own, I was told my size wasn’t available. I ended up buying a dress on its own, and a smaller sized abaya (as the set), meaning two purchases for something that is an error in their sizing. To my surprise, I found my size online after I went home. I was never told that they had this option online. I reached out to the store to explain what happened, and no one responded until I commented on an Instagram post. Only then did they ask me to return to the store to sort things out. Given that I live over an hour away, I made sure to confirm they had my size and could help before making the trip—again, no response. Despite this, I drove back to the store, only to find they still didn’t have my size. Worse, they didn’t have it online either and said they were sold out. The girl working there even tried to gaslight me and claim that this abaya set wasn’t listed on the site the day I had checked for it. I would really love to understand what I would benefit from making up the day I saw this set online? Anyways, she even refused to price match the online discount that was active as I was standing in store, even after all the hassle I went through because of their mistake. When I showed them the message I had sent claiming customer service is so important, the response was simply, “There’s nothing I can do.” Also as a last note, I mentioned sarcastically on my way out that you have really great customer service to which the girl responded “Alhamdillah, we do.” The reviews speak for themselves. I wish I had looked before stepping foot in this place.

The young lady working was so sweet. Helpful when it came to zipping my dress. Bought a beautiful green elegant dress for the holiday. I’m 5 feet and the dress surprisingly was perfect length wise ! I don’t trip over the dress or have to hold it up it’s perfect! Fits like a glove and ties at waist at the back so snatches the waist ! Will definitely go back! Ladies only and they have a fitting room with big mirrors to get a good look at yourself.

I had to do last minute shopping and, out of the three stores I visited, the lady working at this store was the most helpful! I had specific colors I was looking for and she tried her best to help me match them! There is a sign at the register that makes it very clear that they do not do returns or exchanges, so I tried everything on before I checked out.
