3 months agoFirst I want to express how satisfied I am with Henry Ford. Iโve never had an issue with them. Unfortunately, there will be bad apples that should be exposed. If I could rate Dr Ibrahim Mohammed a zero, I would. On March 28, 2024 I had a total right hip arthroplasty. After the surgery, I realized the medication was not strong enough. My surgeon had me on all the right meds, but unfortunately at the lowest dose. Dr Ibrahim Mohammed was on call the next morning. My nurse expressed to him that my pain level was a 9 throughout the morning hours. Instead of fixing the problem, he ordered a drug screening to see if I was on any other drugs. He made me feel like trash. I had never been so humiliated and misunderstood. Both of my parents was in disbelief. 3-4 hours I waited in the worse pain I had ever experienced. When the drug screening test came back negative, he then ordered the proper medication and dose. Unfortunately, I was unable to take the medication because I was being discharged. I am a 43 African American Woman.Ive heard of stories about not being properly medicated due to your ethnicity group, but never experienced it until March 29, 2024. From my experience, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone with color. For we are not in his best interest.

2 years agoDr I has been wonderful with me and my family since the moment i got my breast cancer diagnosis. Heโs made sure I understood everything, called my cardiologist and personally called me three times to check and let me know details. I feel very much to be in good hands. His nurses are beyond amazing, I almost enjoy going to my chemo appointments.

3 years agoI'm not sure how anyone could give Dr. Ibrahim a low or negative review? I've been seeing him for 2 years and he's been nothing but kind, compassionate, patient, and thorough. His Troy office is great! The Royal Oak location tends to be too busy with the other doctors, though an alternative if needing more scheduling options. Having G.I. issues that prevent me from absorbing vitamins well, and difficulty tolerating iron pills for my anemia, he put me on infusions which made me feel a million times better! Gradually my iron levels are creeping up. He has also addressed my B12 and D levels too, along with another serious issue for which he didn't hesitate to send me for further testing. Highly recommend him!
