a month agoStopped by for a quick bite. Got the chicken sandwhich and a couple sides and it was all so delicious! The guy working there was so nice and even brought us some free mint tea which was really tasty. Update: I've come back here several times and everything on the menu is just fantastic! The tajin dishes are so flavorful. The chicken was juicy and tender and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. One of my favorite places to eat in the city!

a month agoThe shrimp and salmon were perfectly cooked and all the sides were absolutely amazing. Next time I am getting tagine again because it is so tender and flavorful. The decor creates a nice atmosphere in their corner of the market. They also validate one hour of parking for the midtown exchange garage next to the market. Super friendly service.

4 months agoSimply delicious. This was the best lamb shank ever. My wife and I stopped at the global market to try different varieties of foods and when she told me about Moroccan food I said "yes let's try it, let's see what they have to offer here". I saw one of the cooks eating soup, but I did not see it on the menu. When I asked about it, the owner he told me that if I liked it he can make one for me, and he did. The homemade soup was great, the combination of two different type of fish, shrimp and fresh vegetables with Moroccan spices. My wife ordered the lamb shank after my suggestion because I wanted to try it. So we shared the food and I try the lamb and then my taste buds went crazy, so good, so delicious. We like the food so much that we complemented the owner who was great. He offered us mint tea, and we also received a sampler of slow cooked beef. Great experience.

5 months agoI don't know how many years I have been here, but suffice it to say that since coming here before the pandemic, I have been in love with this place, and post-pandemic is no exception. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the entire Twin Cities, and everytime I come to the Midtown Global Market, despite many choices, I would almost exclusively come here for food. I have been an avid fan of the beef couscous because the beef was very tenderly cooked and extremely tasty. All the vegetables and the couscous along with the beef were able to provide another layer of flavor if one wished for it. I have also tried the lamb shank tagine before, and the tenderness of the lamb was no exception. Coming here has never failed to be an amazing experience. The owner has also been extremely nice everytime, showing lots of care and hospitality. Once after finishing a plate, seeing that I finished it very fast, he provided me with another plate on the house. I thought it was very wholesome. Easily a food spot I would take every visitor to if they come to the Twin Cities!
