Such friendly hospitality and attentive service from the owner himself and the quality is fantastic. I suggest trying some of the Turkish and Middle Eastern specialties as getting them freshly made is a rare treat. I tried Knafeh for the first time (had the Iraqi version). It's a pastry with gooey cheese on the bottom, phyllo shreds on top held together with sweet syrup, plus a shower of chopped pistachio. Delicious! And not overly sweet. We also tried the plain babousa (honey cake) which was equally delicious. They make their own version of the viral Dubai-style chocolate stuffed with ground pistachios. Yum, loved that too. They have about every dessert you can think of. Crepes, rolled ice cream, pancakes and waffles, cannoli, tres leches cake, cheesecake, beautiful specialty babousa in several flavors, the list goes on! They also specialize in the savory snack kumpir, a baked potato with lots of yummy toppings that is a popular street food in Turkey. The Lake Street location is probably better for pickup. It was very convenient for us as we were in the area, but not a lot of ambience. I want to check out their original location in Northeast Minneapolis where they bake and create all these goodies. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely desserts. I tried the kish kash based off of another review. There is a lot to try here and many reasons to come back. My dessert pudding was splendid, not too sweet. I also ordered hot tea which was freshly made. If the menu is too fast they do have a print version available. Parking was easy and I only noticed this place because of the construction detours. I will definitely go back to try more desserts and a kumpir. The place is very cute with seating available.

I love this place! They have the best customer service and will make any magical rolled ice cream perfection you can concoct! 10/10 recommend. Bring your friends visiting from out of town!

The kumpir and desserts here are amazing! It's so nice to have halal options for the kumpir, and the rolled ice cream is really good! Seating is pretty limited. Service was good, but their menu is a little difficult to read, and extras aren't disclosed at additional prices. Regardless, this is a must-visit, and we'll be sure to return soon!

Quaint little spot kinda hidden. Driven you this place probably a thousand times. Always wanted to stop in, and finally glad I did. Went with my youngest. Cute, small place but enough space to grab seat and watch them make your order. I love that! ☺️ The staff was so helpful with explaining what they offered. The deserts were amazing! I recommend the pistachio chocolate bar and the original chicken Kumpir. It was different but the flavors blended amazing! Also had to try the shaved ice cream (that's what caught my eye and brought us there) and so very glad we did. It had an almost hint of crunch on the edges...mmmmm.. can't wait to stop in again!
