4 weeks agoHave never seen a masjid actively push people away from coming inside and forming a community as much as this Masjid does. The founders of this masjid made it so that it would be a place where everyone would want to come. The current leaders are picking and choosing who gets to use the facilities based on their wants and their friendships, they accuse others of leaving a mess while always leaving a mess after Friday dinner. The same leadership chased away the previous Imam and is the reason no Imam wants to come here. Never seen people want to wield their power not for any reason, but to be able to prove to people younger then them that they have some power. Attendance is down, donations are down but we don't want to address the reason why. We just want to find ways to destroy the community more. Ju'mah and lectures are more about opinion then about the the religious knwledge. How many people live closer to this masjid, but go to the Moline Masjid instead? The failures start from the top.

5 years agoBeautiful masjid! Jumuah hutba is at 1:10. I really liked it. โO you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.โ Jumua 62:9

2 years agoIt's a beautiful Mosque, the only one on the Iowa side in Quad Cities. The mosque is always open during the prayer timings. Separate arrangement for women. Ample of place to play for kids, play area for toddlers and social hall for organizing community gatherings. This Masjid organizes Friday potluck after Maghrib followed by a lecture by Imam Abul Qasim Sb. The Masjid is well maintained, May Allah give barakah to all those who put their time and effort in building this Mosque.

a year agoWe were passing Bettendorf and wanted to stop by to rest and pray. But the mosque was unlocked and we tried to call to reach someone. No one answer the phone. If you were planning to visit this place where passing around to try to check it is open or not
