>Dr. Lena Mustafa talked about becoming a dentist at an early age. While studying for her undergraduate degree, she became a dental assistant and fell in love with the practice of dentistry. Being in a profession that combined art and medicine was both challenging and rewarding, but the best part was being able to help people every day. She then decided that dentistry was the path she needed to take.
She graduated in 2008 with her bachelorโs degree in biology and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2012. That year she began practicing dentistry in her hometown of Dearborn Heights, MI, and then joined our practice in November 2021. She is Invisalign certified and has advanced training in cosmetics through the prestigious Aesthetic Advantage course at NYU. She is a member of theย American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Mustafa is committed to the well-being of her patients and treats them like family. Patients appreciate her ability to put their dental fears at ease. You will often hear them say at the end of the appointment, โThat was easy!โ
Her favorite part of being a dentist is the positive impact she has on patients and being part of their journey to self-improvement. Whether itโs improving their oral health through preventive care, eliminating the pain of a toothache, or building confidence with a smile makeover, she loves having the opportunity to change lives each day.
