Mediterranean food lovers, rejoice!
We've found a new gem - Nara, located off Baymeadows Rd.
Our dad, who's from Lebanon, gave it his stamp of approval and we can't agree more.
The menu may be limited, but the flavors are anything but. We enjoyed fattoush salad, hummus, fried cheese, lamb and kefta kebabs, and a chicken schwarma platter.
And if you're looking for a fun night out, come on a Saturday and dance the night away - the interior is perfect for it! There's also outdoor seating for all of you hookah lovers!
We're excited to go back and we highly recommend you give them a try!
Absolutely fantastic customer service. Amazing acknowledgment as you walk in the door. My first time here, and I simply wanted a snack and ordered kibeh, and they threw in a hummus and their very own homemade fresh baked pita bread as well. Extremely thin and somewhat elegant to my liking. I definitely will be coming back for a bigger meal. ๐ฅฐ
I honestly liked the food and drinks over the hookah flavors. Iโm not sure if I just got a bad mix or if the flavors just arenโt robust. I didnโt like that we had to sit outside because there was a private event going on indoors which we werenโt aware of until we entered the establishment but they made up for it with the belly dancer. She was amazing! But overall the food has great flavor, drinks were greatly made and the service was good.
This was one of the best mediterranean food Iโve ever had in my life, the atmosphere is amazing, the service is amazing and the owner is one of the nicest guys youโll ever meet. I will definitely be back and recommend all my friends and family to come try it out.
Nara Restaurant Review
Nara Restaurant is a Mediterranean restaurant. The food presentation is excellent, with dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious. The kibbeh is a must-try, with a crispy crust and a flavorful filling. However, the hummus is not as good as the one you can buy at Costco.
The restaurant has plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible. However, the environment is very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at your table. Additionally, the food can take over an hour to arrive after ordering.
Overall, Nara Restaurant is a good option for a casual meal, but it is not ideal for a romantic dinner or a business meeting.
Here is a more detailed review of each item:
Food presentation: The food at Nara Restaurant is beautifully presented. The dishes are well-arranged and the colors are vibrant. It is clear that the chefs take pride in their work.
Kibbeh: The kibbeh at Nara Restaurant is delicious. It has a crispy crust and a flavorful filling. The kibbeh is served with a yogurt sauce and a side of rice.
Hummus: The hummus at Nara Restaurant is not as good as the one you can buy at Costco. It is a bit too bland and the texture is not as smooth.
Parking: Nara Restaurant has plenty of parking. There is a large parking lot in the front of the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nara Restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp at the entrance and the restaurant is all on one level.
Environment: The environment at Nara Restaurant is very loud. It is difficult to have a conversation at your table.
Food wait time: The food at Nara Restaurant can take over an hour to arrive after ordering. This is something to keep in mind if you are planning to eat at the restaurant.
Overall: Nara Restaurant is a good option for a casual meal, but it is not ideal for a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The food is good, but the environment is too loud and the food wait time is too long. After my experience, I don't think I will return for a dinner, but I may try again for a lunch a day that I have time to wait for the food.
