9 months agoHad to park far from passport office because of outrageous parking lot $$$. So glad I parked on Canal Street. Was going to grab a quick ๐ but then saw the Shawarma SPECIAL sign in window. Fresh, Flavorful and Served with a Smile... Get extra napkins, incredibly juicy.... Thanks For coming to work each day and Taking Pride in what you do.... Definitely will come back.

a year agoSo wanted to get a too good to go order so it was a beef on rice dish which we got. The owner Faiz is quite nice and friendly and had a little bit of a chit chat. The place is quite close to the north station and great to grab a quick bite. I was quite hungry so I wolfed down my meal in no time. The beef was cut kebab strips and there was white sauce and regular rice and pan-fried veggies. Normal pricing is between 12-16 bucks a pop with other options like a pocket which is cheaper but a snack. There are two washrooms upstairs and they are reasonably clean but takes sometime getting to.

3 years agoStopped in on a whim. Glad I did. The place was clean and we received a very friendly greeting. The food was prepared quickly, then the best part. The food is good! If you get a plate, come hungry. There are lots of options, even for vegetarians.

a month agoHad the shawarma falafel sandwich. Sandwich tasted good and was stuffed full, so happy with that. When you order shawarma, specify the meat, when I ordered mine the cook defaulted to lamb, so he had started cooking it before I noticed. However he happily replaced it with chicken, and they had good service. Note to the restaurant - maybe ask the meat type. Thank you for the leftover umbrella.
