“What once began as a dream to introduce authentic, nourishing Persian food to Chicagoland has become a true success story. We started as a small, family-owned, 11 table restaurant in 1997. What hasn’t changed through the years, is our philosophy that visitors to our restaurant are our guests and it is our pride and joy to create an atmosphere where people keep coming back for more. We create authentic Persian food that reflects our heritage. Our ingredients are always fresh, most of our spices come from Iran, and our menu is lovingly prepared using our treasured family recipes. We are committed to creating healthy and nutritious meals and have partnered with as well.”

5 months agoDining room at this place is an awesome experience that almost makes you feel like you are in another world. The food is equally awesome especially eggplant and lamb dishes. While the wine list was just OK, the full bar is very much appreciated. Pomegranate ice cream is a must try as well. Highly recommended.

a month agoProbably the best kabob restaurant in the area, and thatโs saying a lot considering the other great options nearby. I love that they have a semi self-service area outside for people who just want to grab a quick meal. You can buy a 2 skewer koubideh rice for $20 and split it into 2 meals, making one of the best value for money meal in Chicago.

a month agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at this Persian restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the authentic dining experience. To start, the Tahdig with Khoresh gheymeh was a delightful dish. The crispy saffron-infused rice was perfectly golden and crunchy, providing a wonderful texture contrast to the rich and flavorful stew served in the center. The Koobideh kebab was another standout, featuring juicy and well-seasoned ground beef, grilled to perfection. The accompanying grilled tomato added a nice, smoky flavor, and the fluffy, fragrant saffron rice completed the dish perfectly. I also tried the Lamb Shank, which was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with the slightest touch, and it was enveloped in a savory and aromatic tomato-based sauce with a hint of tanginess. Lastly, the Joojeh Kebab was a perfect choice. The chicken was juicy, marinated in saffron and lemon, offering a zesty flavor that was both refreshing and satisfying. For dessert, I enjoyed their Saffron ice cream. It was a perfect ending to the meal; creamy, aromatic, and delicately flavored with saffron. The ice cream had a rich texture and was pleasantly fragrant, with just the right amount of sweetness to complement the intense floral notes of the saffron. It brought a refreshing finish to the rich and flavorful meal, making it a must-try! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore the rich and diverse flavors of Persian cuisine.

2 weeks agoFirst time trying Persian food! It was yummy with beautiful presentation. Got the eggplant, lentil soup, tiramisu, and truffle pistachio ice cream. It was a very small amount of ice cream so Iโd try the actual ice cream cup next time, but other than that it was great!

2 months agoFirst time and got take out, was not disappointed! The food was delicious, the meat was tender, the chicken was juicy, and the hummus was delicious! I didnโt realize the entree came with pita and I went ahead and ordered extra. I now have a great big stash of pita (and Iโm not complaining ) Highly recommend!
