On a Midwest scale I would say slightly below average but on a local scale within Iowa City itself probably considered pretty good by most. The food portions we're slightly smaller then I would have hoped. Overall I would say the price does reflect the quality of the food. Menu items pictured in the post that we tried include the gyro, and the sample platter which consisted of hummus, falafel, pita, and roasted chicken with veggies. See attached pictures and video. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. Our weight was much longer than I would have hoped. Almost 30 minutes. Come to find out our order was given to a different table so the server brought out a punch card for a free meal next time we stop in. It's a very small establishment but overall good environment. The restrooms were as clean as you would expect and parking is a little bit difficult to come by but there's a lot of side roads to park on.

When I went here this afternoon, the girl at the register was super helpful. I told her I didn't know what I wanted because I'd only had Mediterranean food one time before, and I couldn't remember what any of it was called, i just knew I liked it. So she helped me figure out what to order and what sauces to get. And when I left I wound up having to delay my trip home by several hours, so I didn't even get to eat it until now, about 5 or 6 hours later and it's still delicious. I would 100% go back here.

Best Mediterranean food in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City corridor. Everything they have is tasty. The atmosphere/dining room is not great but the food by far makes up for it. We will keep coming back.

This place has the BEST Chicken Shawarma and Kafta I've ever tried. And they had Attack! Attack! Playing from the kitchen. Excellent stuff. 5 stars.

I ate every bite! After a long trip from the Northeast to the Midwest, I was delighted to stumble into Oasis Falafel. The young woman who took My order was friendly and efficient. I ordered a plate with chicken shawarma, grilled veggies, rice with lentils and red picked cabbage. Everything was delicious! I am very satisfied.
