11 months agoMy son in 7th grade and my daughter in 4th grade go to Ocean Academy I'm very happy with their progress. They've been going for only a few months and have learned many Surahs in the Quran I'm so proud. My daughter is doing advanced math, which she wasn't doing in public school. Over all very clean, nice environment and beautiful musjid in the basement parents are invited for the khutba on jummah with the kids.

9 months agoAs a parent, I couldn't be happier with our Acadimy choice. The nurturing environment envelops students, fostering a sense of belonging and curiosity. The staff's dedication is palpable, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and support. Witnessing the joy radiating from students, it's evident they're not just learning, but thriving. The program's impact is tangible; my child is not only happy but also flourishing academically and socially. Our Academy is more than an institution; it's a sanctuary where children grow into confident, compassionate individuals. Gratitude fills my heart knowing my child is benefiting immensely from this exceptional educational journey.

a year ago"My family, along with many others, had a negative encounter with Oceans Academy. After reading the previous comments, I feel compelled to share my experience. The school suffers from a shortage of qualified teaching staff, often relying on young adults to supervise the children. Many teachers have left their positions, and the school is primarily managed by family members including a sister, husband, and kids. The lack of a well-defined curriculum leads to improvised teaching methods. Consequently, we had to withdraw our children, a decision shared by numerous other parents. The owner's response to concerns is often unpleasant, displaying a lack of willingness to address issues. The teachers seem to lack empathy and flexibility, with divided schedules and part-time status for some. Communication with certain teachers ends when their "shift" is over. Notably, they've replaced the principal for the upcoming year, possibly due to issues with emotional management. I strongly advise against being misled by the outward appearance of the building; it merely conceals the problems within. For the school, it appears to be more of a business than a nurturing educational environment for young children."

a year agoMy son is in 1st grade and I am grateful for all the beneficial knowledge he is receiving. Just within the first week he has almost completely memorized the ayatul kursi. This made me so happy I had to share. Alhumdulillah. May Allah bless the school and staff and their excellent Islamic program.
