Before opening oda, the owner and chef Marina Cardak and her spouse ran Chicago's favorite Turkish Cuisine restaurant for 15 years. Born and raised in Turkey's neighboring Georgia, renowned for its hospitality and the invention of wine, Marina decided to reach down to the roots of the Ottoman kitchen and bring the best of its legacy into a single menu of Oda.
