“Family-run grocery/bakery is a Miami establishment that has been around since 1954. Aisles are overflowing with Middle Eastern ingredients, supplies, and household items. Toward the back of the store is a cafeteria with a selection of hot items, platters, and side dishes made fresh daily by a family member. The freshly made hummus, lebna, and baba ghannouj are all served with thick pitas and sold individually ($3.99) or on a platter ($6.99). Traditional dishes such as shawarma ($5.99), shish kebab ($5.99), and rack of lamb ($9.99) are ample portions served with two sides and fresh pita. For a real treat, try the daily specials, which range from makloubah ($5.99) to lamb shanks ($6.99), depending on the day. Plus, delicious Baklava & Knafa.”

3 months agoThis has become my go-to for a quick super casual lunch. I tried their rotating specials; the staff are very friendly and treat you like family. Tbh I feel very lucky to be working right across from this place. And don't be afraid to try their hot habanero sauce, it has helped me stay awake after many lunches. If I'm feeling fancy I finish up with a dessert(turkish delight/Kunefah/Bakalava are great options)

5 months agoWe LOVE this place!! The food is to die for, very fresh and plentiful for the price. The hot sauce is no joke and will knock you on your butt - do be careful. The shawarma is flavorful. The baba ganoush particularly stands out with a nice roasted flavor. The pickles are a nice addition. Has a very family vibe. Also the carry sour cherry juice which is a rare find. They also have friend pastries including a pistachio baclava that's to die for. Love love love.

8 months agoNice, friendly, welcoming owners. You can find Middle East and Turkish products there. They also have the part of the store as a restaurant, the food they have is fresh middle east food but some of them taste exactly the same like Turkish food(Stuffing pepper, grape leaves, rice, red lentil soup). We ate two plate and got full very easily and the price we paid for two plates was less than 30$.

6 months agoOne of my favorite spots to grab some pita and dips. Staff is incredibly friendly and they have a lot of the foods that are hard to find in regular groceries.

a week ago:Terrible experience. I bought black olives from this store, and they were the worst Iโve ever tasted in my life. When I tried to return them and get a refund, the store owner refused, even though the product was clearly bad. I canโt believe something like this happened in a place like the U.S. Losing $15 over terrible olives is unacceptable. I will never step foot in this store again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
