a month agoI can't recommend Petra enough! All of the dishes we tried were fantastic. The chicken shawarma bowl was my favorite. We also ordered a side of hummus which came with fresh, warm pita bread. The portions were very generous, enough for lunch the next day!

4 months agoFor date night, my partner and I went to Petra for dinner on my recommendation. And it was possibly the best recommendation I've ever made. The wait for a table was about one minute. The service was friendly and quick. We ordered a six-piece falafel to share, the Petra mixed grill, and Beef Shawarma Saj Bread Wrap. The falafel was crisp on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. The mixed grill somehow managed to avoid being too dry. All the protein was juicy and flavored perfectly. The Saj was so so good. The beef, the sauce, the wrap, and the pickles were a perfect combination. I don't like pickles and I liked the pickles at Petra. I was very intrigued by the bakery case but the amount of food in what we ordered was a lot so we had no room for a Turkish Delight. Next time. Petra is our new go to spot. You should definitely give this restaurant a shot - it will not disappoint!! ๐ง๐ฏ

3 months agoEasy to miss but amazing food and wonderful atmosphere! Nice gentle music that isn't overwhelming like so many other places these days. Had explicitly marked vegan options on the menu. Fries are a can't miss!

4 months agoCame here for dinner with a friend, and both of us loved the food! I ordered a Turkish coffee to start off (wanted to try it once but likely wouldnโt order again - tasted good but I just prefer it sweeter). I also ordered the falafel saj wrap w/fries and was very pleasantly surprised with the huge portion size. The falafel wrap was great (and so were the fries)! Again, quite a decent portion size for ~$15 (definitely think it could be shared). Overall, loved the food, atmosphere, and service. You can also buy boxes of baklava there.

a month agoActually mostly a restaurant and a small bakery. Jordanian food. Pitas were very pillowy, and warm. Absolutely great and generous. Hummus was outstanding. Chicken Shawarma bowl had rice, salad, and shawarma all as an interesting mix.
