4 weeks agoAbsolutely HORRIBLE! I got an eco done in late 2023. Had a follow up in early '24. The doctor got called in for a surgery they didn't even bother to call to say she wasn't there only said after I arrived & sat down. About an hour later the doctor showed up. No one kept us updated we had to ask. They said, "Well you have 4 people ahead of you so it will be a while". We just walked out. Then I scheduled an appointment a few days later. I showed up, they said, "Oh the doctor is out for today and won't be back till so & so date" they never called me to tell me. They only did after I showed up. They lied & said they called but they never did. I got no missed calls voicemail etc. I looked at my calls history. I made another appointment there, basically same thing happened for the 3rd time. The front desk people are just absolutely horrible at their jobs. They don't communicate to patients at all. I understand if a doctor is called out for emergency surgery but the people in the office seriously need to learn how to communicate because they don't. The doctor is good, but I will NEVER be back here because the front desk people can't communicate properly.

4 months agoThe medical support folks are efficient and friendly, while the doctors are knowledgeable, supportive, concerned and caring. The checkout staff are friendly and efficient, as well! Check-in can be a bit sketchy at times: the automated system is good, but has very brief instructions. Everytime there has been a person at the entrance desk, they have reacted as if my presence was an intrusion on their day. Barely responsive and typically dismissive....at odds with the rest of my interactions with everyone else in the practice.

4 months agoThis review is regarding the management of Phoenix Heart. Clinical supervisor Jaime Torres will NEVER return your call. I have left numerous messages for him. My mother has been waiting for a procedure to be scheduled since May 24'. To my knowledge the authorization dept has been waiting for the back office to update her information in her notes. To ensure the procedure is covered by her insurance. No one has touched or updated her file since May. My mom has been in leg pain and has been waiting patiently. I am frustrated and disappointed . I have been calling since Monday to have my mother scheduled. The front office supervisor spoke to me but she is not able to tend to the clinical part of the issue. Jaime is the person in charge and never bothered to call back or help address the issue. Lack of professionalism and accountability on his part. The supervisor sets the tone and work ethic to their office. Now I understand the lack of empathy towards the patients. He doesn't set an example for his team. Lynn in prior authorization has been great! I appreciate your help!

2 months agoI cannot on good conscience recommend this place or praise them. On my last appointment date, I showed up on time...but doctor Gomes didn't get to me until an hour after my scheduled appointment time, so basically she was late to my appointment. Today I went in for an appointment, arriving 15 minutes late because I thought my appointment was at 845 when it was actually at 830.... Should have been no problem right because they expect me to wait an hour for some appointments.... But no, they can't wait 15 minutes for me, they need to reschedule me. It's sad that because we need doctors, that they don't have to be held accountable for making us wait, but when we're late, we're absolutely held accountable by having to reschedule! Very disappointed there's no mutual respect for time in this office and will be seeking a different provider.

4 months agoThe office and staff is very efficient without rushing you. Dr. Parasher was knowledgeable of my history and changed some items on the spot. He will look at tests in a couple of weeks to make sure that the approach was correct.
