2 months agoLate night gyros are extra yummy, and the guys that run this place work their butts off to make it for the night owl customers who formed a line almost out the door to get some! Service was marvelous and these guys provided us with everything we asked for, and all with a smile (at 10:30pm, no less!!). We had to wait for quite a while to get our food which came out hot but could have been a bit more seasoned. The hummus was just decent, the baba ganoush was a bit bland, the tzatziki sauce was also a bit underseasoned. The spinach pie is made with a pastry crust, NOT phyllo, which made it underwhelming, but the falafel was a standout. I wouldn't come out all this way to visit, as there's plenty of excellent Greek/Mediterranean food out my way, but it's worth visiting if you're in the area late. Prices were very reasonable also!

2 months agoThe falafel here is better than Olive and Lime! Super crispy and perfect. The sambusa is good too but the grape leaves were meh.

a month agoOrdered DoorDash from here but Iโve been there a few times through the years. Always very good!

3 months agoThe food is absolutely delicious - the pita on their sandwiches are amazing, and I love their cauliflower and eggplant salad. Some may find them a bit too oily, but mixed in with the other things, they are really great. Also love that the place is open late - it's my guilty pleasure when I've got late night cravings and no self control. Oh, and they have some phenomenal fries.

5 months agoPicture going to the state fair in your childhood and eating a food truck gyro when you're absolutely starving. Each bite being the best thing you've ever put in your mouth. This is the experience you'll have at the Pita Hut. The pita for the shawarma sandwiches is impossibly light and fluffy and the toppings are incredible. This would be an incomplete review if I didn't mention the hummus. So smooth and silky and seasoned perfectly. With the fluffy pita - chef's kiss! The atmosphere is super basic but clean and informal. Staff is really pleasant and quick to give a grin. I regret that we didn't get any pictures but we were too busy cramming this heavenly food down our gullets.
