Pita Shack

Delicious family-owned Mediterranean food! We had the falafel wrap and the Iraqi lamb kebabs with tasty saffron seasoned rice and a mixed green salad. It’s definitely worth the visit if you’re in North ATX!

This is my favorite place to eat in and around Austin. The Pita Shack is my “go to” once or twice a week. The food is delicious and healthy. LOVE the kebab! The owners are extremely friendly. Very lovely place. I’m extremely happy I found this place.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a taste of the Mediterranean, this is the place to go.

I was excited to try Pita Shack for their lamb kababs, but unfortunately, they didn't impress me. The lamb kabab lacked tenderness and flavor, with an outer layer that tasted fried excessively. It resulted in a dry and overcooked texture, making it underwhelming. However, the chicken kabab was tasty and well-seasoned. While the chicken kabab saved the meal, the disappointment with the lamb kabab makes me hesitant to return. Overall, I would explore other Mediterranean dining options for a better lamb kabab experience. In terms of service, I noticed that the food took longer to come out, possibly due to the influx of online orders. The service overall was okay. The ambiance of the restaurant is chill, creating a relaxed atmosphere. However, I wouldn't recommend Pita Shack for bigger parties looking to dine in.

We ate here tonight and had the lamb and gyro plate, the gyro wrap, fries, and baklava. Everything was fresh and delicious. Friendly and decent prices for the amount of food. We will eat here again when we are in the area.
