Usually, when โfastโ and โfoodโ go together, thatโs not a good thing. Bland flavors. Lots of fat and calories. So-so service. Itโs the way most places do things, but thatโs not the Pita Way way.
Inspired by irresistible late-night Windsor kebab stands and drawing upon family recipes and culinary secrets provided by his aunt and grandmother, founder Brandon Bahoura set out to create an alternative to boring burgers and pizza. A 2007 Oakland University graduate with a Bachelors in Business Marketing, Brandon quickly found that his ideas received a warm reception from area residents.
The first Pita Way restaurant opened in Clarkston in April of 2010. Almost immediately, Pita Way became widely known for its great food, reasonable prices, comfortable atmosphere and fast, friendly service.
Seven years later, nothingโs changed. Brandon and Pita Wayโs managers welcome customers of all ages for the same delicious, healthy, value-packed meals as always โ and since people come back again and again, he knows most of them by name.
Now, Pita-Way offers 9 convenient locations (and growing) in Clarkston, Auburn Hills, White Lake Township, Fenton, Warren and Brighton (just to name a few), with more to come. Pita Way may have grown, but our commitment remains the same: To serve up fresh, flavorful, healthy Mediterranean food. To provide friendly, fast, efficient service, and to make every customer our welcomed guest.

2 months agoOrdered from here and was missing my pita for the side of garlic sauce and the side of hummus. Also found this piece of plastic in my hummus not sure how something this large gets past someone. I will say the food is really good, but the service is like getting a prostate exam with no hands

9 months agoThis was my first time trying Pita Way and canโt believe I havenโt tried this place before. Clean, friendly, fresh ingredients and passionate about their establishment. I was honored to have Conrad help me with my order today. I questioned what the Quesopita was and he gave me samples to try a few things and thatโs when I knew- let him do his thing. So happy I did! I ordered the dark meat and whatever pickled magic he put in there was amazing! I also ordered their spicy hummus. Hands down will be back!

2 years agoMy first time ordering, it seemed overwhelming but when it was my turn the staff helped make it easy and quick to customize my meal. The place was packed and it was still fast food! Absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 bowls chicken, a sandweech, the fries and lemon chicken soup. The yellow cabbage and pickled turnip really add a unique and yummy flavor. I did not care for sweetness of the raisins in the rice, I'll skip that addition next time. Highly recommend if you like Mediterranean foods. Even for picky eaters it's a good choice because you can simplify to your liking. One of my son's had a bowl; only rice and double meat. We were so full, no one finished their meal, so we will happily have leftovers tomorrow!
